Program Studi Teknik Kelautan menawarkan Program Fast-Track bagi mahasiswa Teknik Kelautan yang berprestasi (IP di atas 3.0), di mana mahasiswa yang berprestasi dapat memperoleh gelar Sarjana Teknik (ST) dan Magister Teknik (MT) dalam waktu 5
(lima) tahun.
Dalam skema Program Fast-Track ini, mahasiswa yang berprestasi dapat mengambil kuliah dalam program magister sebanyak 12 (dua belas) SKS pada tahun ke 4 (semester 7 dan 8 ) program sarjana.
Setelah menyelesaikan program sarjananya (S1), mereka dapat langsung mendaftarkan diri untuk program Magister (S2) Teknik Kelautan dan Sekolah Pasca Sarjana (SPS) akan langsung mengakui kuliah magister sebanyak 12 (dua belas) SKS yang diambil pada program sarjana (dengan ketentuan bahwa nilai rata-rata dari 12 SKS tersebut harus minimum 3.50) . Dengan ketentuan bahwa harus memenuhi 36 (tigapuluh enam) SKS dalam program magister, mahasiswa yang berprestasi hanya tinggal harus menyelesaikan 24 (duapuluh empat) SKS dari kuliah wajib dan pilihan yang dapat diselesaikan dalam 2 (dua) semester atau 1 (satu) tahun.
Mahasiswa yang berprestasi dapat mengajukan lamaran untuk Beasiswa Voucher yang akan membebaskan mahasiswa dari biaya semester dan biaya kuliah.
