The Department of Ocean Engineering offers outstanding Ocean Engineering students (GPA of 3.0 and above) with the Fast-Track Program where the outstanding students can earn both their undergraduate and master degrees in Ocean Engineering in 5 (five) years.
In this Fast-Track Program scheme, the outstanding students can register for additional 12 (twelve) credits of graduate courses during their 4th year (7th and 8th semester) in their undergraduate program.
After their undergraduate graduation, they can directly apply for the Ocean Engineering graduate program and the Graduate School will automatically recognize the 12 (twelve) credits of graduate courses taken their undergraduate program (with the requirement of grade average of 3.50 of those 12 credits) . With the requirement of 36 (thirty six) credits for their master program, the outstanding students only have to complete additional 24 (twenty four) credits of compulsory and elective courses that can be completed in 2 (two) semesters or 1 (one) year.
Qualified outstanding students can apply for Graduate Voucher Scholarship that will cover semester and tuition fees.
